The Dare 2 Dream Leadership Academy is a program which focuses on educating our youth with all our five pillars of success namely Career Etiquette, Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship, Creative Arts, and Community Service, guided by Ijana Nathaniel’s workbook, Beyond Career Day.
The Leadership Academy is an intensive youth development program designed to provide our students with increased communication skills, presentation skills, financial empowerment, life skills, service engagement, and goal setting skills, in a fun, and safe environment. We designed this program with a goal that each participant is able to utilize these skills daily and beyond this program.
Starting this year, Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc. aims to bring bigger and better leadership workshop experience and hone more future dynamic leaders for six Saturdays with a more intensive learning experience during school breaks!
WEEK 1: CAREER AND YOU
This workshop focuses on goal setting, career planning, career etiquette through interviewing & resume writing and developing one’s strengths and talents through a creative arts workshop
WEEK 3: THE ENTREPRENEUR IN YOU
This workshop is set to discuss and understand entrepreneurship together with a guest speaker. It is where students/participants learn to design their own entrepreneurship project.
WEEK 5: SERVING TO WIN TRIP
For this course, the community service project will be brought into action as the group is sent to a community service trip for exposure, experience and obtaining an in-depth understanding of community service.
WEEK 2: FINANCIAL 101
During this workshop, participants will focus on financial literacy discussion and activity
WEEK 4: SERVING TO WIN
This workshop focuses on the growth of an individual through understanding the value of community service. By this course, participants will be able to plan and present their community service project.
WEEK 6: CELEBRATING SUCCESS
At the end of our program, we bring joy and pride to our youth through our team building and salutatory awarding event where participants, with parents as witnesses, will receive a certificate of completion and a Letter of Recommendation.
