In December 2010, Ijana Nathaniel applied for 501c3 status to begin Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc.
January 2011, Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc. held their 1st fundraiser to launch program.
Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc. was incorporated and officially granted 501c3 status as of March 2011
In May 2011, Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc. launched their 8 week pilot youth empowerment series at Andries Hudde 240 for 12 Middle School students.
In September 2011, Andries Hudde 240 Middle School became home to Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc. were they successfully ran a free After School Program to 40 students per semester for the next 3 years.
In 2012, Founder of Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc., Ijana Nathaniel was chosen as a nominee along with 24 other women to receive the Brooklyn Women of Distinction Award presented by former Borough President Marty Markowitz.
In 2012 Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc., partnered with the International Youth Council to host our very 1st youth empowerment summit. Our invited guests included Hakeem Greene, Keisha Dutes aka Tasty Keish, Grammy Award Winning Commissioner Williams, Councilman Jumaane D. Williams and more.
In 2012 Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc. hosted their 2nd Annual Fundraiser and honored 45th District Councilman Jumaane D. Williams for supporting their organization and the community.
In 2012, Founder Ijana Nathaniel was featured in the Amsterdam News, Chief News and the Brooklyn Courier News as recognition for the work being done with Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc.
In 2013 Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc. hosted their 2nd Annual youth summit at St. Francis College for over 100 youth in Brooklyn and received sponsorship from TD Bank.
In 2014 Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc. hosted their 3rd Annual youth summit at St. Francis College for over 100 youth in Brooklyn and received sponsorship from the Arbonne Charity.
In 2014 Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc. partnered with the Girl Scouts to help 15 girls in their troop earn badges for Financial Literacy and Career Etiquette.
Founder Ijana Nathaniel went to Graduate School at Nyack College where she completed her Master’s Degree of Science in Organizational Leadership as of August 31, 2015.
Founder Ijana Nathaniel self-published the 1st workbook for Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc. called Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc. Present Beyond Career Day: A Success Guide for Middle School Youth. The book is scheduled to be released in April 2016.
