THE FOUNDER
Ijana, mother of two amazing children – Nia and Jeremiah, once had a vision of helping future leaders create and build their dream. This dream took its first milestone to reality when she founded Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc. in 2010.
Like any individual, Ijana also had her share of struggles back when she was still young. But these waves never discouraged her to walking her way to success.
Ijana already loved working with her students, networking, creating opportunities and helping others follow their dreams and passions. In 2016, she added the title of Self Published Author to her list of accolades with her workbook: Dare 2 Dream Leaders Inc., Present Beyond Career Day: A Success Guide for Middle School Youth.

TREASURER
Fran started her career as an elementary school teacher and swimming instructor. She has led in creating and enhacing programs at the YWCA of Brooklyn. And while employed by the YW, she started ENCOREplus which is a breast health education, screening and exercise program for women recovering from breast cancer surgery.
Fran also directed the summer day camp program, aquatics and the fitness programs. Her drive in helping the youth enhance their talents and skills is also what prompted her to take part in turning dreams into reality for the young leaders.
Beginning her career at HBO in 1999 where she worked for various positions over 12 years, Tyieast has with no doubt become an expert in finance management. Because of her experience, she has become an asset to the Dare 2 Dream Leaders Organization as the treasure. Her passion for financial expertise inspired her to become part of the organization as it would serve as her venue to contribute and help our youth. Tyieast has also paired up with the president of D2DL to facilitate the Financial Literacy Workshop for the Girl Scouts of America.
In addition, she joined the mentoring program for high school students even when she was employed at HBO. Tyieast served as a mentor to a young lady who attended Frederick Douglas Academy High School for three years.
